The Just Jazz Quintet, founded in 2000 by trumpeter/flugelhornist Ron Holleman and drummer Chuck Landgraf, has been a fixture of Northern Colorado’s jazz scene for over two decades. Known for their performances at local venues, festivals, and private events, the group explores a wide range of jazz styles—from straight-ahead and modern to fusion and Latin—showcasing original compositions and inventive arrangements. Tim Gauthier shares the harmony instrument seat, bringing his guitar to the mix and contributing original compositions that range from swinging standards to groove-driven funk, complementing the artistry of stellar bandmates Ron Holleman, Andrew Vogt, Chuck Landgraf, and Jo Asker. The Just Jazz Qunitet plays from 4:30-7:00 PM at Avogadro’s Number (605 S. Mason, Fort Collins, CO) every third Friday of the month.
